Scientific Information System Developer and Maintainer

We have developed and deployed the initial stages of a Scientific Information System (SIS), which will function as scientific document repository and web-based publishing system for the Institute's scientific output, and a content management system (CMS) and shared calendaring system for the Institute's administrative and operational activities.  The SIS Developer and Maintainer will play a key role in the continued development and implementation of the SIS system, while serving as one of the major links with the Institute's scientific and administrative staff to develop and incorporate new SIS content, and serving as a key link to the Institute's Information Technology (IT) department to ensure integration of the SIS system with server hardware and other IT infrastructure.  This position reports to the Information Architect.
