Micro Working Group
All day
Our campus is closed to the public for this event.
Cross-cultural comparisons have the potential to provide insights into the dynamics and essential mechanisms of societal change, but they are incredibly challenging to carry out. Issues of measurement and commensurability plague such efforts and make for unique analytical challenges. The ENDOW project is one such comparative effort, with the aim of understanding some of the drivers of social and economic inequality, and how they may be differentially intertwined cross-culturally. At this micro working group, we will bring together some of the core members of this large, interdisciplinary collaborative team to try to wrestle with some of these challenges and advance cross-sectional, comparative analyses.
