All day
Held at the Santa Fe Institute Organized by SFI's Business Network and Education Offices in partnership with SFI External Professor Melanie Mitchell, this two-and-a-half day course is an intensive, immersive tour of the sciences of complexity, a broad set of efforts that seek to explain how large-scale complex, organized, and adaptive behavior can emerge from simple interactions among myriad individuals. The course is specifically designed for professionals. No significant math or science background is required. The course will provide an excellent opportunity to introduce new Business Network member executives to the sciences of complexity, as well as for experienced members to refresh their knowledge of the field. Space is limited, so there will be a cap on number of participants.
