SFI External Professor Raissa D’Souza (UC Davis) has joined the journal Physical Review Research as Lead Editor. The multidisciplinary journal is a new, open-access publication of the American Physical Society.
In their announcement of her appointment, the APS writes “D’Souza is widely recognized for her interdisciplinary research in network science and complex systems, with many of her papers appearing in Physical Review Letters and Physical Review E. Her expertise spans the fields of statistical physics, theoretical computer science, and applied math with a focus on phase transitions and cascading failures.”
