Director of the Applied Complexity Network
Casey Cox is the Director of the Applied Complexity Network at the Santa Fe Institute. She works closely with Will Tracy, VP for Applied Complexity to create programming for and cultivate meaningful relationships with members of the Applied Complexity Network (ACtioN), Complexity Society donors, and SFI Trustees. Casey spent her undergraduate years studying film at Syracuse University and the College of Santa Fe. After nearly fifteen years working in the film industry, she pivoted her career, using her production skills to produce international science events and her communication skills to foster connections and collaborations between scientists and practitioners. Casey is the co-editor of SFI’s Dialogues of the Applied Complexity Network book series and, coming full-circle, along with a small team of scientists and filmmakers she is the producer of a potential upcoming series on Complexity Science and the Santa Fe Institute.
