Gus Pedrotty

Coordinator, Office of Applied Complexity

Gus Pedrotty is the Coordinator for the Department of Applied Complexity at SFI. Before joining the Institute, Gus enjoyed a work-life spanning bartending, medical device start- ups, technical writing, political consulting, and creative agencies. In 2017, Gus ran a nonpartisan, outsider campaign to become Mayor of Albuquerque, in which he received over 6% of the vote. Outside of work, he manages a volunteer organization that produces community-created and city-focused civic literacy videos and events. He received Bachelor Degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2017 where he focused on the interactions of music and the brain.
