Sodiq Mojeed

Sodiq Mojeed received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Lagos State University and a master’s in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS). His current research focuses on using Python sorting algorithms to catalyze interdisciplinary and international collaboration among scientists at conferences. He is also interested in identifying the sets of platform affordances and community norms that promote positive epistemic conversations and scientific innovation. He is keenly interested in network science and how information, opinions, or ideas flow in social networks. His previous work includes studying homophily effects in scientific team formation at conferences, mobility in urban transportation networks, and more theoretical work in graph theory. He enjoys reading motivational books and helping students learn math.
