The JSMF-SFI Postdocs in Complexity conferences bring together the James McDonnell Foundation (JSMF) postdocs and the Santa Fe Institute (SFI) postdocs.

They are designed to develop a strong network of rising complex systems scientists, foster collaborative research, establish best practices for complex systems science research, and introduce new JSMF postdocs and early career complexity scientists to the Santa Fe Institute. The conferences provide the fellows with critical information for successfully navigating academic careers, as well as access and insights from key leaders in academics, business and government.
